Ways to invest and withdraw
What is step-up SIP?
A step-up (or top-up) SIP raises your SIP amount automatically every year, by a fixed amount or percentage, so your investing keeps pace with your income.
How it works
Most fund houses let you set the step-up when you register the SIP. Raising the SIP with each pay rise is one of the most powerful habits in personal finance, because the larger instalments still have many years to compound.
Example
₹10,000 a month raised by 10% every year for 20 years puts in about ₹68.73 lakh and, at 12% a year, would grow to about ₹1.86 crore. A flat ₹10,000 SIP over the same years grows to about ₹91.99 lakh.
