Investor charter
Last updated 25 October 2026
In short: what you can expect from TenX Investment as your mutual fund distributor, what you can expect from the fund houses you invest in, your rights and responsibilities as an investor, and how to complain if something goes wrong. It follows the structure SEBI uses for investor charters. Every fund house also publishes SEBI's Investor Charter for Mutual Funds on its website.

Our vision
Every family we serve should know what it owns, why it owns it and what it costs, and should stay invested long enough for its goals to be met.
Our mission
- Explain mutual funds in plain language, including their risks and costs, before you invest.
- Suggest only schemes that suit your goals, time horizon and risk profile, never schemes chosen for the commission they pay.
- Complete your transactions and service requests accurately and on time.
- Keep your KYC, nominations and records in order, and review your holdings with you regularly.
- Resolve complaints quickly and openly.
- Follow the SEBI regulations and the AMFI Code of Conduct for mutual fund distributors, and keep learning.
What we do for you
- Help you complete KYC and open folios, with your own contact details on every form.
- Explain schemes using the documents the fund houses provide: the Scheme Information Document (SID), Statement of Additional Information (SAI), Key Information Memorandum (KIM), factsheets and portfolio disclosures.
- Set up and change SIPs, STPs and SWPs, lump sum investments, switches and redemptions.
- Handle service requests such as nominations, bank mandate changes and contact updates with the fund house or its registrar (CAMS or KFintech).
- Review your holdings and goals with you, and follow up any complaint with the fund house or registrar.
What we do not do
- We do not give investment advice for a fee, and we do not deal in direct plans.
- We do not accept cash, and your money never passes through us: payments go from your bank account to the scheme.
- We do not promise, indicate or imply any return, and we do not offer assured-return products of our own.
- We never ask for your passwords, OTPs or PINs, and we never act on a form without your instructions.
Our commitments to you
- We will give you the scheme documents and point out the risks of each scheme, including that returns are not guaranteed and that you can lose money.
- We will tell you, before you invest and whenever you ask, the commission we receive on the schemes we discuss with you. The fund house pays it out of the scheme's expenses, and it shows in your Consolidated Account Statement. See our commission disclosure.
- We will tell you that we deal in regular plans, that every scheme also has a direct plan with a lower expense ratio, and which fund houses we distribute.
- We will not churn your portfolio, and we will not hold back information from the fund house that you should know.
- We will keep your information confidential and use it only to serve you and to meet legal duties. See our privacy policy.

How to complain
- Tell us first at +91 97484 34883 or tenxinvestmentservice@gmail.com, with your name, the fund house, folio and what went wrong.
- The fund house: write to its investor service centre or its Investor Relations Officer. Their details are on its website, in the scheme documents and on your account statement.
- AMFI: complaints about a distributor's conduct can be raised with AMFI through amfiindia.com.
- SEBI SCORES: if the complaint is not resolved, file it on scores.sebi.gov.in or the SCORES app. The entity must resolve it within 21 days. If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a first review by a designated body and then a second review by SEBI. Physical complaints can be sent to the Office of Investor Assistance and Education, Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI Bhavan, Plot No. C4-A, G Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai 400051.
- SMART ODR: if you are still not satisfied, you can start online conciliation and arbitration on SEBI's Online Dispute Resolution portal.
