In short: you can use this website without giving us any personal information. We use Google Analytics to count visits and may use Google AdSense to show ads; both use cookies. What you type into our calculators and check-up stays in your browser. If you contact us, we use your details only to reply and to serve you as your distributor. We do not sell your data.

This policy explains how TenX Investment ("we") handles personal data on tenxinvestment.com and when you contact us. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and Google's publisher policies.

What we collect

When you simply visit

Usage data through Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived, and events such as using a calculator. We do not see your name or contact details through it.
Server logs kept by our hosting provider: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser, used for security and to keep the site working.

Tools that stay in your browser

The calculators, goal wall, risk quiz and money health check-up work in your browser. Some save your inputs in your browser's local storage so they are there next time (for example, your goal wall). This data is not sent to us. Clear it any time by clearing site data in your browser.
The daily quiz sends only which option was chosen, with no personal identifier, so we can show how other visitors answered.

When you contact us or invest through us

If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive your name, number or email address and what you tell us.
To act as your distributor we, the fund houses and their registrars (CAMS, KFintech) and transaction platforms need KYC and investment details such as PAN, address, bank account, nominee details, income range and risk profile. Fund houses and registrars hold these under their own privacy policies; we keep only what we need to service your account.

Cookies and advertising

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell new and returning visitors apart.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we use personal data

To reply to you and provide the services you ask for, including KYC, transactions and service requests.
To meet legal and regulatory duties under SEBI, AMFI, PMLA and tax laws, including record keeping.
To understand how the site is used and improve it (aggregated analytics only).
To send you updates about your investments. We send marketing messages only with your consent, and you can stop them any time by replying "STOP" or writing to us.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.

Fund houses (AMCs), their registrars, KYC registration agencies and transaction platforms, only to process your investments.
Service providers that run this site and our communication: Google (Analytics, AdSense, Gmail), WhatsApp, and our web hosting provider. Some of them may process data outside India under their own safeguards.
Regulators, courts or authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept for as long as you invest through us and for the period SEBI, AMFI and other laws require afterwards (generally at least eight years). Enquiries that do not lead to an investment are deleted within two years. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to client information, never ask for passwords, OTPs or PINs, and never collect payments ourselves: money moves directly between your bank and the fund house.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent you have given, nominate someone to exercise these rights, and raise a grievance. Some data must be kept by law even if you ask us to erase it; we will tell you if so. Write to us using the details below; we reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is meant for adults. Investments for a minor are made through the parent or guardian, who gives any consent needed.
